Reading Group

The Congresbury Library Reading Group meets the first Friday of each month.  The group is currently full but if interested you can go on the waiting list. If you would like information and advice on starting up and running your own reading group we would be very happy to help you.

Ancestry

Library members can access the following databases from the library computers free of charge to research their family history: Ancestry,  freebmd,  freecen, military service records, occupation records and town & trade directories. Our Family History volunteer is an expert in tracking down overseas relatives and can provide training on the software and guidance on how to research your family ancestry.  Ask a library volunteer to book a session for you.

Bridge School

We are looking for someone to teach bridge to beginners.  If you are interested please contact the library.

Chess Club

The Chess Club is for both children and adults.  Every Wednesday in St Congers Room, Old School Rooms between 6:30 - 9pm.  £2 per session paid on the night.  If you are interested please leave your contact details with a library volunteer or turn up on the night.
